Howdy All,
We have finished our build out at the Stampede. We are part of the group that puts on the Western Oasis. We supply, setup, and maintain the greenery at the BMO centers' Western Oasis. Come and have a glass of wine while you watch the sand sculpture of a Buffalo Hunt and a Chuckwagon in full charge! Or just cruise the the aisles of the Art Displays for your next piece of work to decorate your home.
Calgary area Garden Center. we produce most of our own product, locally grown, just east of the city on the Trans Canada. Closest towns are Langdon, Strathmore, and Chestermere.

Full Swing
So, we are into full swing. Production is winding down for this year and all the product is out and for sale. New shipments are coming weekly and we are starting to plan for next year already!
What to do . . . let's get on top of those weeds, if you haven't already, a good weeding now should keep you clean till after stampede. Manual extraction is good as you've grown up with your tools. Mechanical might be easier on your back, but be sure it does a good job and not just propagating your dandelions. Chemical . . . well, read your labels and follow them! Don't over apply, or under, just right is the name of the game here.

Spring, Really here?
Welcome to my first attempt at this blogging thing . . .
So, is it time? Can we start?
yes, I think we can. It's been a weird, unexpected spring. Too wet in April, no sun, then, in May . . . we're in it. No low temps in sight, nice long sunny days. I get the feeling Mother Nature is teasing us. But, I'll take. There is enough heat around now that I think we can get our projects truly underway.
